I have decided to convert my guitar method series, "Vertical Truth: Chordal Mechanisms for the Guitar" to PDF and offer it for sale on MasterGuitarSchool.com. The book was not designed as a "self-teaching" method; it requires a qualified instructor. Now, however, I'm redesigning everything to be as self-contained as possible with the en masse web-based environment in mind. Explanetory text, pictures, fretboard diagrams and demonstration videos - much like the free lessons already produced for Master Guitar School site members. These PDFs will make my books look like a very sparse outline - which is essentially what they are. Each unit will be it's own PDF just like each unit of the book is it's own separate book.
Much of Units 1 and 2 have already been, or will be, given away in the form of free lessons to site members so I will begin the PDFs with "Unit 3: Triads." At this point, I am done with the Unit 3 PDF but am dealing with upgrading the website to an ecommerce level with automated downloads, credit card processing, etc.
It's going to be interesting and challenging for me to attempt to adapt this method, which I have taught and refined for decades in a one-on-one setting, to a web-based environment.
